It’s Day 10 of my 12 Days of DIY Gift Ideas and today I’m going to share a classic idea for all card makers and stampers. It’s a handmade card set! I’ve made this sweet little card set to give as a beautiful, very personal gift. This is a very simple, easy to make card set and it fits nicely into any stocking. Today I’ll show you how to make this set using Stampin Up’s Painted Poppies stamp set and an acetate box.

How to Make the Card Set and Gift Box

First, let’s make the gift box.

How to Make the Gift Box

Materials:

Acetate Box
2 1/8″ Strip of Black Cardstock
2″ Stamped Piece of White Cardstock
Ribbon
Pearls
Seal+ or other strong adhesive

Wrap and adhere the card box with the strip of black cardstock, followed by the stamped cardstock. Tie a piece of decorative ribbon or string around cardstock pieces and the adorn with pearls.
