Decorated Hershey's Nuggets - Day 1 of 12 Days of DIY Gift Ideas

I’m so excited to introduce to you a series of blogs called 12 Days of DIY Gift Ideas, beginning today! Throughout this series, I’ll be showing you fun gift ideas you’ll be able to handmake for your friends, family, and other special people on your gift-giving list. Today is Day 1 of the 12 Days of DIY Gift Ideas, and we will be making these fun decorated Hershey’s Nuggets gift sets. Let’s get started!

Materials

6 Hershey’s Nuggets
Designer Paper Measuring 1″ x 3″
Strong Adhesive
Cellophane Bags Measuring 6″ x 8″ cut off from bottom at 2 3/4″
Scotch Tape
Ribbon
Pre-made Tag of Your Choice

Follow along below for instructions on how to assemble these decorated Hershey’s Nuggets.

How to Assemble & Package Decorated Hershey’s Nuggets

First, wrap each Hershey’s Nugget in a piece of 1″ x 3″ designer paper. Cut a 6″ x 8″ cellophane bag starting from the bottom up to about 2 3/4″. Insert all six candy bars into the bag. Seal the bag using clear tape. Embellish with ribbon and a tag of your choice!

If you’d like to include a few more chocolate pieces with your gift or would like to use a different sized container, here are a couple alternatives to this fun little decorated Hershey’s Nugget gift idea. To make them, wrap the candy bars with paper, place in either an Acetate Card Box or Tiny Treat Box and adorn with ribbon and tags!
