Kit Contents
Below you can see some of the contents of the 2021 March Paper Pumpkin “Here’s To You” kit. It includes all the supplies to create 8 beautiful cards.
The kit included 8 card bases, printed card front pieces, printed die cuts, kraft envelopes and liners, stamps, adhesive dots, linen thread, stencils, sponge and a mini Calypso Coral ink pad. I love that even after I use my kits, that I can use the ‘leftover’ stamps, ink and other pieces on other projects!
Pre-designed Projects
Each Paper Pumpkin kit comes with instructions for predesigned projects. Below are the samples I created according to the instructions included in the kit. Like I said, I love the outdoorsy, mountain theme of these cards. It’s so different…in a good way!
Here’s another sample. This would be a really good birthday card to give to a husband, dad or any man in your life. We all need cards for men, right?!
March 2021 Paper Pumpkin Alternative Ideas
I always like to make alternative ideas for the Paper Pumpkin kits to give you ideas of other projects you can make. Below are a few I came up with.
For this sample, I used the tree die cut and added a stamped sentiment to the front, and although it’s hard to see in this picture, I added some clouds at the top using the cloud stencil included in the kit.
For this card, I added some stamped flowers at the bottom and used the sunbeam stencil at the top.
Here I cut out the front panel from the pink card and adhered it to the blue base.
To give it some added interest, I took the front panel of this card and sectioned it into four panels. It almost looks like you’re looking out a window!
Stencils
Here are some other alternative ideas for this Paper Pumpkin kit using the stencils included in the set.
For the card below, I used my a blending brushes, white ink and the star stencil along with the tree stamp. When using white ink with one of your blending brushes, be sure to wash it off really well afterwards.
I used the mountain stencil on the card below, and I also used the printed die cuts, but turned them over and used the white side facing up. I think it gives the feel of snowy trees.
Here’s another look at all the cards I made with this one kit. Keep in mind that I still had quite a few leftover pieces that I can use for other cards. I love Paper Pumpkin, it’s such a great value for everything that you get. Keep scrolling for information on how to sign up to receive this month’s kit!
