Hello and welcome. So it’s my favorite time of the month — Paper Pumpkin time! I received my January Paper Pumpkin kit in the mail the other day and I got right down to business creating with it. Keep reading below and you’ll be able to see my January 2021 Paper Pumpkin alternative ideas and kit samples.

Watch along here, and I’ll share this month’s kit, or keep reading for pictures and details!
Kit Contents
Below you can see some of the contents of this month’s kit. It includes all the makings for 8 cute cards featuring Valentine’s and love-themed greetings and artwork.
The kit included 8 card bases, printed card front pieces – some with a large gold heart and some with mailboxes, loads of die cuts, black ribbon, and epoxy heart stickers. As always, the stamps and an ink spot were also included. This month’s ink color – Poppy Parade!
Stamp Set
Here is the stamp set that came included this month. Isn’t it cute? I love the snail and how it coordinates with the Snailed It stamp set from the new Mini Catalog.
Pre-designed Projects
At the top left and bottom right in the photo below, you can see the cards I made as shown on the kit instructions. My small helper actually did the one on the bottom right. Keep reading to see more of her adorable creations.
Alternative Ideas
I always share alternative ideas to help you find other ways to use your kit. This month I have three alternatives to share.
Mini Cards
Mini cards are a great way to stretch the materials you get in your Paper Pumpkin kit. Just cut a card base in half lengthwise, and you’ll end up with two smaller cards!
Treat Box
Here’s a cute little treat box I created and embellished with the black Love die cut.
Pop-Up Card
I think pop-up cards are so fun and they add such a nice little surprise for recipients. Take a look at the ones I made below.
Here’s the inside of these pop-up cards.
For instructions on how to create the pop-up on the inside, make sure to watch the video.
Cards
Here are some alternative cards that my little helper made. Aren’t they cute?! Obviously, she loves the snail stamp.
You can see a few more alternative ideas in the photo below. Thanks for visiting to see my January 2021 Paper Pumpkin alternatives and project ideas.
