So today, winter is arriving. Or maybe it’s what fall weather is supposed to be, I’m not really sure. I don’t know what fall weather is because we haven’t had any yet!! It has been in the upper 80’s and 90’s for most of the week – in October – in Ohio! That’s crazy! Today, the high is 60 degrees. I better get out my parka, I might freeze!! In all honesty, a high of 60 degrees sounds perfect. I’m ready for some real fall weather, a fire, and some hot apple cider. I feel like I should have a fall card for you today, but you’ll have to check back tomorrow for that. Today’s project is a lace card, and it features some of the prettiest laser-cut paper that I’ve seen. Keep reading to find out more!
Here’s a close up so you can fully appreciate the detail in this paper. It is so intricate, and all the work was done for me. No, I did NOT have to punch out any of the little cutouts. They were already gone and ready for me to craft to my heart’s delight.
Below you can see images of the designs from the Delightfully Detailed Specialty Cut Paper pack. This image doesn’t show nearly how gorgeous these prints are. They come as white on one side and very vanilla on the other – none of this gray business like what is shown in the picture. They are 12″ x 12″ pieces, but on the back/left sheet, the borders are made to pop off, and the 4″ x 5 1/4″ designs are made to trim apart. The design on the center left is what I used for this card. In person, these are absolutely gorgeous. It’s still on my to-do list to make a scrapbook page with the 12″ x 12″ print in front. If you’re not a scrapbooker, you could also trim that one down and use smaller sections of it for cards.
The ‘forever & always’ greeting I used on the card was from the Itty Bitty Greetings stamp set, shown below. This set is perfect to have on hand to make sure you always have just the right stamp for any occasion. Plus, I love that they coordinate with our punches and can be punched right out!
I would love to see creations that you come up with made with the Delightfully Detailed paper. Send them my way!!
