I promised you a fall card today, and that’s what we’ll have…a spooky Halloween bat card to be exact. Can you believe Halloween is less that three weeks away? It’s time to get working on those Halloween cards and treats! I need to start thinking about my daughter’s costume too. She has been saying for about six months that she wants to be a fairy. That’s right, I said six months. Let me repeat…my four year old has wanted to dress up like the same thing for six months. Usually something like that could change five times in a single day. Regardless, I’m not questioning it. I’m glad for some clear direction!
As for today’s card, I started with a piece of the adorable Toil & Trouble designer series paper, and sponged around the edges. I stamped the greeting with Gorgeous Grape ink, punched it out with the Tailored Tag punch, and then punched a second one out of our Black Foil paper to mat it. I punched a few scary bats with the Spooky Bats punch, and added them. Keep reading to see the paper pack and stamp set in more detail.
Here is the Toil and Trouble designer paper pack. Is this not adorable? See some really cute treat boxes I made using this paper here.
And here you can see the Spooky Sweets stamp set and Spooky Bats punch.
Here is what I stamped on the inside of the card. Those bats were too cute not to use!
