It’s been a few days since I’ve shared a Christmas card idea – that means it’s time for one! This time of year, many of you stampers are preparing for the holidays, and I want to make sure you have plenty of project ideas! Today’s card was made with the Stampin’ Up! Tags & Tidings stamp set and coordinating Christmas Tags thinlits dies.
Before we talk about the card, I have to say that I love Stampin’ Up! I would imagine you all know that, but in case you didn’t, I’ll tell you again. I love Stampin’ Up! I did a card class for a group of ladies who work together recently. It was sort of a two week long class, if that’s possible. I dropped off supplies for them to make some cards at their office. I explained a few things, and left the materials for them to make cards during lunch.
Yesterday I went back to pick everything up. They were all brand new stampers and they have fallen in love!! Two signed up as demonstrators, mainly to get the great starter kit offer, and a few more placed orders. I can’t wait to see what kinds of creations they begin making! And I’m always so excited to welcome new demonstrators to my team. The relationships I’ve formed with this group (and customers too) are my favorite thing about being a demonstrator. If you’ve ever thought about becoming a demonstrator or signing up just to get a discount, learn more here.
Ok, so let’s talk about today’s card. For the cute little tags on the present, I used the Tags & Tidings stamp shown below, and cut them out with the Christmas Tags thinlits die. That is one stamp and one die – not multiples. This is pure genius, really. Stamp all the tags with one big stamp, then line up the die over top and cut them out. It is soooo easy to make a bunch of tags. I stamped one set of tags with Cherry Cobbler, one with Mossy Meadow, and one with Smoky Slate. After I punched them out, I had a ton of tags to play with.
The striped print on my card was from the Festive Farmhouse designer paper pack below. I like the stripe, but I love even more some of these other prints – especially those plaids and wood textures!!
That sweet, sweater-like design on the card itself is from the Cable Knit embossing folder. Seeing this makes me almost look forward to cold weather so I can snuggle up in a sweater and blanket!
