Hello and welcome to Day 8 of my 12 Days of DIY Gift Ideas! I love having you here to prepare for the holidays with me. Today’s gift idea is a simple yet beautiful and elegant DIY gift your recipient can use and admire all year round. It is a butterfly lantern card, which is basically just a card with a vellum window in the front. When a battery operated tealight is placed underneath, it turns into a lantern! I can’t wait to share with you the details on how to make it. Let’s get started!
