15+ Ways To Use Ribbon Besides A Bow

11 Jun

Do you get tired of using bows on your card projects? Would you like ideas for ways to use ribbon besides with bows? If so, you’re in luck because today I’m sharing over 15 ideas for using ribbon that are not bows! Let’s get started.

15+ Ways To Use Ribbon Besides A Bow Video

Watch along here as I explain each of these ideas along with how to do each, or keep scrolling for photos and more info.

How To Attach Ribbon

First I’ll mention that I like to attach ribbon in one of two ways. 1 – With a Glue Dot or 2 – With a little bit of Seal+ adhesive. I rarely use a different adhesive for ribbons.

Now let’s talk about what to do with that ribbon.

Ways To Use Ribbon

If you’re interested in more details on the card projects shown, use the links included.

1. Use A Strip

2. Use A Strip Wrapped Around Back

I always attach these with one Glue Dot at each end.

3. Wrap Around Several Times

What do you do with the ends? Tie them in a knot (or a bow, but that’s not what we’re talking about today) or wrap them to the back side.
