Who do we have here who loves fall??? Any pumpkin spice lovers in the crowd? I won’t claim to go head over heels for pumpkin spice everything, but I do love fall. Leaves, pumpkins, cool weather, harvest…it’s my favorite. Besides Christmas, fall-themed projects are my second favorite when it comes to crafting. I love today’s fall project, which I’m calling a bronze beauty. It uses an amazing new leaf stamp and die set from Stampin Up. Take a look!
The Stampin Up Love Of Leaves Bundle
Let’s look at this beautiful bundle, new in the 2020 Stampin Up Holiday Catalog. It includes the Love of Leaves stamp set with realistic, watercolor effect leaves with natural color variation. I love the washed out effect!
The stamps also have a coordinating die set called the Stitched Leaves dies. The stitching on this set is amazing! Each leaf shape has two dies. One cuts around the outside of the leaf and adds stitching to the outside of the cut. The other die adds stitching to the inside of the leaf where the veins run.
What a beautiful leaf stamp and die set! For today’s card, I wanted to highlight both of these amazing products.
Benefits
This set is perfect for fall, but I want to mention that it can be used throughout the year. Just switch up your colors, and it can be used anytime.
In addition, do you ever have a hard time finding products to make masculine cards? Leaves are always perfect for men.
Also, the die set in this bundle is more versatile than an average set due to how it was designed. Usually the main piece you are using is the die cut itself. Because these dies add stitching outside of the cut, it also makes the outside (negative) piece gorgeous. This creates so many more crafting possibilities!

Here are a few more card ideas that I made with this set a few weeks ago. I love that these leaves work for simple projects, but can also be used for gorgeous and detailed projects as well!

How To Make This Card
Materials
A full list of the products needed to make this card are listed at the bottom along with links to order. To make these bronze beauty leaf cards, here are the paper supplies you will need:
- 3 3/4″ x 5″ Brushed Metallic Paper
- 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ Cajun Craze cardstock, folded in half
- 3 3/4″ x 5″ Crumb Cake cardstock
- 3 7/8″ x 5 1/8″ Crumb Cake cardstock
- Gilded Autumn designer series papers
- Embroidered Ribbon
Preparation
I started by adding additional color to the designer papers using sponges and ink.
The colors I used were Just Jade, Cinnamon Cider, Soft Suede, Bumblebee, and Cajun Craze.
Next, die cut the leaves from the designer paper. Use both the inner and outer die for each leaf.
Place all five outline dies onto the metallic cardstock and arrange them to look nice across the entire surface. Run through your die cutting machine to cut them out.
Assembling The Card
Attach the rectangular negative space piece of metallic cardstock to the piece of Crumb Cake cardstock that is the same size. I suggest using multipurpose glue for this.
Attach the designer paper leaves over top of their respective areas using foam dimensionals. If any part of the leaves hang out over the edge of the cardstock, trim them off.
Mount this piece to the larger piece of Crumb Cake cardstock. Then mount to the card base. Add ribbon, champage rhinestones and greeting.
I hope you enjoyed today’s card using the new Stampin Up Love Of Leaves leaf stamp and die set. It’s one of my favorites. Will it be on your next order?
