Stampin Up Season Of Chic & A Classic Card Design

The basic design I’m sharing today is possibly one you’ve seen before, but hopefully you’ll look at it in a whole new way after seeing my sample projects! It uses the Stampin Up Season of Chic stamp set, and I think you’re going to love it! Let’s take a look.

Featured Stamps

The main stamp set I used on today’s cards is Stampin Up Season Of Chic. This set includes so much – an assortment of greetings, stamps for every season plus texture stamps. It didn’t really catch my eye at first, but once I started creating with it I realized how much you can create with this set! Take special note of the ‘swoosh’ texture stamp, because you’ll be seeing it often in the photos below.

Basic Card Design

The basic card design I created includes three swooshes for the background, with a focal point stamped on top. For these cards my focal point is a flower, shell and leaf. It is so easy to create, and really stunning in my opinion.

This design can be taken and changed in a variety of ways. What if you change up the colors of the swooshes, stamp different images for the focal point, change the color of cardstock, or shift the swooshes off center?

I just think these are so much fun!

At An Angle

What if we take the swoosh stamp, turn it at an angle, and stamp using a variety of ink colors? In the video, I shared how to line this up on the Stamparatus to get precise placement and even spacing. I created samples with rainbow and ombre colors. The large greetings were perfect to finish them off.
