It’s another technique project paired with our new holiday products! I’m having too much fun trying out new techniques with these products. I absolutely loved the Starry Night and Cardinal and Glimmering Trees cards that I made recently, and here’s another one that turned out nicely, my glimmering ornaments card.
When I look at the Embellished Ornaments stamp set, it makes me think of glitz and glamour. I wanted to present it in proper style, so I used two techniques on this card. First, I scored the cardstock diagonally in both directions to create a faux tile effect. Next I stamped the Island Indigo ornament, masked it, and then stamped the Delightful Dijon ornament. Then I stamped over both ornaments a second time with Versamark ink and embossed them with Iridescent Ice embossing powder. My pictures don’t show how wonderfully glimmery they are!
