Are you a beginner looking to explore the world of stamping? Or maybe you’re an expert stamper wanting to quickly expand your collection and output of cards. If so, I’ve created a couple of easy and fun Autumn card ideas perfect for fall birthdays, parties and many other occasions!
Autumn Card Video Tutorial
If you prefer, here is a link straight to my video of how I created these beautiful autumn cards. You’ll be able to visually see step-by-step the process of how I put these cards together.
How To Make These Cute Cards
Let’s talk about how to make the apple card below.
First, place adhesive on the back of your brushed metallic cardstock. Place metallic cardstock on the left side of your base cardstock towards the fold, leaving just a little bit of your base cardstock peeking through on the side.
Next, grab some scrap red cardstock and stamp two apples. For these autumn cards, I used Soft Suede ink for the color of my apples.
Line up your Apple Builder Punch (it lines up so easy!) and punch out your apples. You’ll want to arrange your apples where you want them. Leave the top apple where you want it, remove the bottom apple, place adhesive on the back and re-insert it in the correct position.
Next, grab your top apple and apply with some dimensionals for extra added dimension!
After you have your apples applied to your autumn cards, stamp and punch out stems and leaves; apply with some glue or adhesive. You’ll see in my video I use my Take Your Pick tool to easily pick up the small pieces. I used mini dimensionals on the leaves for a little added dimension, again using my Take Your Pick tool.
Finally, all you’ll need is a greeting! I used “Happy Fall, Y’all” from the Banner Year stamp set, but you can choose whichever greeting you like! I simply turn my greeting stamp to run vertically along the side of the brushed metallic cardstock. For my inside greeting, I used a stamp from the Harvest Hellos stamp set that says, “You Make Me Smile”
Autumn Card Materials
Here’s what you’ll need to make these cards:
- Cardstock base measuring 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, folded in the center
(I used Soft Suede, Black and Crumb Cake!) - Woodland Embossing Folder
- Piece of Brushed Metallic Cardstock measuring 2 1/2″ x 5 1/2″
- Colored cardstock for apples, pumpkins, stems and leaves
- Harvest Hellos Stamp Set
- Apple Builder Punch (used for both apples & pumpkin — so versatile!)

- Ink pad (I used Soft Suede)
- Dimensionals
These autumn card ideas are such a treat to make. Hopefully, you’ll have as much fun as I did creating this simple yet beautiful card!
