It’s September, and in my mind that means fall is here. I’ve been eyeing the local stands selling pumpkins and gourds, and it won’t be long until I stop and fill my trunk in order to decorate our porch. My project for today highlights fall harvest. It is a simple wheelbarrow card idea, and it is overflowing with pumpkins, apples, gourds, and Indian corn. Including lovely sentiments, it’s the perfect card to share this season.
Autumn Goodness Stamp Set
I used the Autumn Goodness stamp set, shown below, to create this card. The corn shock, wheelbarrow, and produce are wonderful stamps, but don’t overlook the greetings! They include ‘Golden Leaves, Chilly Air, Autumn Beauty Everywhere,” “Plant Kindness, Harvest Love,” and “All Good Things Come From Above.” It also has tiny stamps that say, “For You,” and “Thankful.” I used the thankful stamp on this adorable treat holder earlier this week.
Watercolor Pencils
I stamped the wheelbarrow and pumpkins with Soft Suede ink and then colored them in with watercolor pencils. I didn’t use any special techniques, I just colored the old fashioned way.
Stamp Camp
Today’s card is one of the projects for my upcoming Stamp Camp. These events are a lot of fun and packed full of stamping. Each attendee makes 16 different projects! If you’re interested, you can learn more about Stamp Camp here.
