It’s the Stampin Up Poinsettia Place product suite, and it includes some gorgeous products for your holiday crafting. Let’s first take a look at what comes included, and then I have nine different card samples to share with you!
The Product Suite
Poinsettia Petals Stamp Set and Poinsettia Dies Bundle
The Poinsettia Petals stamp set and coordinating Poinsettia Dies include a fantastic collection of poinsettias, holly leaves, branches, and berries to make beautiful decorations for your holiday projects. The greetings are very nice ones as well.
Other items included in the Stampin Up Poinsettia Place product suite are listed below. Scroll back up to see them in the photo.
Poinsettia Place Designer Series Paper
The papers in this pack are very pretty and different from your usual reds and greens. They include softer colors and neutrals, as well as poinsettias, holly, berries, woodgrain, and basic prints.
Plush Poinsettia Specialty Paper
Oh my goodness this paper is gorgeous! It is a shimmery vellum printed with flocked velvet designs including poinsettias, holly with berries, and a pretty decorative print.
Sheer Ribbon
I’m predicting this soft, sheer red ribbon to be my most-used in this catalog!
Beaded Pearls
These clustered pearls are beautiful. Use them as is or use Stampin Blends markers to add color to the them.
Card Samples
Let’s take a look at some gorgeous cards made using these products. For each, I’ll share which products I used to create them. Ordering links for these products are included at the bottom!
Showcasing The Product Suite
I used the products in the Stampin Up Poinsettia Place suite, along with Red Velvet Paper and Festive Felt Sheets to create this gorgeous card.
A Traditional Poinsettia Card
I used Stampin Blends markers to color this beautiful flower. It uses Heartwarming Hugs designer paper, Square Vellum Doilies, Antiqued Corners & Slides embellishments, and a few Wonderful Gems in the corners.
Trimming The Town Poinsettia Card
This card features a beautiful blue print from the Trimming The Town paper pack. I used the amazing Winter Snow embossing folder in the background, and topped both with Stampin Blends-colored poinsettias. I added a few Adhesive-Backed Snowflakes for some sparkle.
A Slimline Poinsettia Card
Who here loves slimline cards? Check out my slimline card and envelope tutorial to learn how to make these special and unique cards. For this sample, I stamped the poinsettias with Sahara Sand ink, and colored them with Calypso Coral, Blushing Bride, and Pool Party Stampin Blends markers. I used some of the gorgeous Plush Poinsettia specialty paper in the background.
Traditional Poinsettia Card
What a pretty, traditional Christmas card this is! I used ‘Tis The Season and Feels Like Frost designer papers for the background, and silver embossing powder to emboss the poinsettias onto Real Red cardstock. The swoosh of sheer ribbon in the background is perfect to set off the poinsettia.
Glitzy Gold Poinsettia Card
This gorgeous card uses poinsettias, heat embossed with gold embossing powder, and a background of embossed gold foil paper to make a real statement. Stunning!
Wonder Of The Season Card
The Stampin Up Poinsettia Place suite includes dies to cut around stamped poinsettias, but it also includes dies that cut and emboss poinsettias, as shown on this card.
The Wonder Of The Season designer paper pack includes beautiful newsprint style designs with red and gold foil prints, and I used it for the background. Aren’t the red and green foil poinsettias beautiful?
Brushed Metallic Poinsettias
I used the three colors in the Brushed Metallic Cardstock pack to cut out these radiant poinsettias. Placed over top of vellum and Brightly Gleaming designer paper, it’s an elegant card to share with loved ones this season.
Softly Falling Snow Card
The prints in the Snowflake Splendor designer paper pack are amazing! I used one of these prints for the background of this card and cut the poinsettias and holly out of the Plush Poinsettia paper pack using the die set. Along with a Gold Hoop Embellishment and some pretty blue gems, this (almost) makes me wish winter was here!
