I love decorating unique gift packaging for holiday gift giving, and I know that many of you do as well. In this year’s Holiday Catalog, we have an adorable packaging option – the Stampin Up coffee cups and drink carrier. Too cute!
The Coffee Cups
These mini coffee cups are about 3″ wide and 3 1/2″ tall. They are food safe and hold liquids up to 200 degrees F, so that means you can even use them for coffee, hot chocolate, cider, or tea! Imagine a tea party with your favorite children using these cute cups 🙂
The Drink Carrier
You can only carry so many cups without needing a carrier, so Stampin Up came out with this adorable drink carrier. It’s the perfect way to package two cups and decorate them for a nice gift.
What To Put Inside
If it’s small, it will fit! My favorite ideas to fill the Stampin Up Coffee Cups are K-cups, hot chocolate or cider packets, candy, gift cards, and tea bags.
The Perfect DIY Gift Idea
These cups are the perfect inexpensive gift idea for teachers, co-workers, friends, neighbors, and anyone really. Men are so hard to buy for, and these are great for men too! If you’re giving a gift card and want some fun packaging, they’re great for that too!
Snowflake Products
I used the Snowflake Wishes stamp set and Snowflake Splendor designer series paper to decorate these cups. They make for perfect decorations for a warm, cozy drink in the cold of winter!
Perfect Coordinating Products
Even though I used the snowflake products to decorate these cups, I want to mention a perfect coordinating product to use with these cups. It’s the Nothing’s Better Than bundle, and you can see the stamp set below. It includes amazingly adorable greetings that can be mixed and matched SO many different ways. Using the ‘coffee’ stamp, you could make projects say any of the following. “Today’s plan: Consume coffee and be awesome!” “You’re just like coffee, you make everything better.” “A day without coffee is like, ummm… just kidding, I have no idea.” “Today is a coffee kind of day.” “And I’m pretty sure tomorrow will be too.” “Because adulting is hard.” These are perfect for these coffee cups! Template
I’ve saved you some work by creating a template to use for covering these cups. I also have a template for the belly band to wrap around the center. Download the template here. Make sure to cut on the inside of the black lines for the correct template size.
Here’s a tip for cutting out your designer paper using the templates. First, cut out the template and mark it ‘coffee cup template’ so you don’t accidentally throw it away. Then lay the template on top of your designer paper and make a rough cut around the outside as shown below. You can cut a two or three pieces of designer paper, stack them up with the template on top, and use clips to hold them together so that you can cut them at the same time. This is a big time saver!
