Stampin Up Circle Sayings & 7 Simple Card Layouts

Welcome! I’m having so much fun playing with my new stamping supplies, and today I’m sharing a new set that, in my opinion, is one of the most versatile in our new catalog. Circle punches are seriously the best thing since sliced bread, and now we have a stamp set that coordinates with a circle punch to make all kinds of sentiment tags. Yes please! I knew I wanted this as soon as I saw it. Let’s take a look at the Stampin Up Circle Sayings bundle and seven different card layouts you can create quickly and easily using a circle punch!

Here you can see this delightful bundle. I LOVE this set. It makes it so quick and easy to create circle tags for greetings or just general decorations on your cards.

7 Simple Card Layouts

All of the cards below were created with white card bases measuring 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″. The circle punch used measures 2 3/8″. For each card, I’ll share the measurements for the other pieces as well

1. Beach Scene

Begin with a piece of 4″ x 5 1/4″ designer paper, and cut it in half at 2″ and 2 5/8″ to create quadrants.

2. Blue Bouquet

3 3/4″ x 5 1/2″ designer paper

3.Mauve Daisies

3 7/8″ x 5 1/8″ paper and 1 3/4″ x 4″ paper

4. Coneflowers

Begin with paper measuring 3 7/8″ x 5 1/4″ and trim off 1″ from the edge.

5. Pink Flowers

3 1/2″ x 4″ designer paper with 2 strips of cardstock mounted behind, each measuring 3 1/2″ long (any width is fine since most is hidden).

6. Ocean Waves

3″ x 5″ designer paper with a 3 1/4″ x 5 1/4″ cardstock mat behind.

7. Cheerful Daisies

3 pieces of designer paper measuring 1 1/4″ x 3 1/2″

One More Idea

Here is a treat bag from my recent team retreat. I used the Circle Sayings bundle to create the tag and I added a punch from the Little Monkey bundle. Isn’t it cute?
