Have you noticed the Stampin Up Birds and Branches set in our new catalog? It’s a lovely set. Who doesn’t love birds? They’re absolutely beautiful creatures, and make perfect scenes for gorgeous card projects. Normally, to make a scene like the one below, you would either need to die cut each piece or do a technique called masking. Today I’m going to show you how to create this scene quickly and easily, without die cutting or masking! Let’s get started.
Below you can see the Birds & Branches stamp set. It includes all the fixins’ for beautiful bird scenes. We do offer a coordinating die set, but I did not use it on today’s project.
In order to create this bird scene without fancy or time consuming techniques, all you need to do is ink only the portion of your stamp that you want to show. For example, I only inked the branch stamp on the tips. Want to see exactly what I’m talking about? Watch along below!
Do you like the texture I created on this card using the Tasteful Textile embossing folder? I created another beautiful card with the same technique here.
Do you love it? If so, make sure the Stampin Up Birds and Branches set is on your wish list!
