Hello! Today I have another #simplestamping card design to share with you. Each month my Stampin Up team members and I get together for a virtual team meeting, and each month we make at least one mystery stamping project. I send out the materials list ahead of time and then we gather online to see what fun project we are creating. For our Mystery Stamping this past month, I created a simple quadrant card design that uses BOTH sides of the designer series paper of your choice, so it solves the problem of having to choose which side of the paper to use. Creating #simplestamping cards are so much fun, I love how quickly they come together and how nicely they turn out. I also love that this type of project can help new crafters gain confidence in their creative abilities!
I’m calling today’s project a quadrant card. Let’s talk about it.
Quadrant Card
Quadrant cards are beautiful and simple. They require one or two colors of cardstock, one double-sided designer paper of your choice, a tag and some ribbon if you desire. I love the look of these cards, especially since they allow you to use both sides of your designer paper — you don’t have to choose which side to use! They come together quickly and are just overall fun to make! Let’s take a look at the materials you’ll need to make this card.
Materials
- 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ Card Base
- 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″ Cardstock
- 4″ x 5 1/4″ Designer Paper, cut in half at 2″, then again at 2 5/8″
- Tag of Your Choice
- Ribbon
How to Assemble Quadrant Cards
First mount the 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″ cardstock onto your card base. Next, flip over two of your designer series paper pieces and mount the two with the same print diagonally from each other. This is what makes it a “quadrant card” because there are four corners/quadrants to the card, and they alternate prints. Next, you’re going to mount some ribbon and a tag of your choice in the center where all four corners meet. I have several premade tags organized in a fishing tackle box that I’ve made from my Many Messages bundle that makes it super quick and easy to have tags for my cards. If you don’t know what this bundle is or what it does, it can literally allow you to make hundreds of tags in just minutes. Take a look at the link above if you’re interested in learning more.
Quadrant Card Samples
Here are a few card samples I’ve made using the quadrant card design. Take a look.

This card is so fun and happy with the beautiful big flowers.
Like I said earlier, I appreciate the simplicity and beauty of these cards. I’d love for you to try making this card design too. Leave a comment with a picture of your projects and let me know how it went for you. I’d love to see your creations!
