Are you interested in knowing more about the products I used on these treats? Let’s look at them next.
Featured Products
I used three main products to decorate these candy corn treat holders. First was the Hey Birthday Chick stamp set which features the adorable chicken stamps. I also used the Cutest Halloween stamp set and Frightful Tags dies.
I’ve been using these products quite a bit lately, and you can see another project idea, a double pocket treat holder using the Halloween products below.
Here is another card idea for the Hey Birthday Chick stamp set. Isn’t it adorable!?
Now, back to today’s projects. Let’s look at the cute jam jar first.
Mini Jam Jars
For my first chicken treat I used one of our Mini Jam Jars. I really like these jars for a few reasons. One, they’re super quick and easy to decorate. Two, they’re larger than I first realized, meaning I can use them in more ways than I originally thought. They hold a generous portion of candy corn, as shown here.
For both projects today, I colored the chickens with my Blends alcohol markers. These markers give the absolute best shading.
Next let’s look at the small box I created.
Kraft Gift Boxes
These Kraft Gift Boxes in the Stampin Up Holiday Catalog are a new favorite of mine. They come laying flat, and just require a few quick steps to fold them up. They can be used to hold card sets or many other items like candy corn!
Isn’t this cute, how the chicken appears to be ‘pecking’ at the corn?
Inside you can see that I packaged the candy corn into a 6″ x 8″ cellophane bag, folded over on the back side.
