This Candy Bar Slider Is The Neatest Thing I’ve Made For Months!

2 Jul

Hi, and thanks for stopping in today! Last month I shared 50 amazing paper craft projects from Stampin Up demonstrators around the U.S. One of those projects was an amazingly cool treat holder like the ones shown below. I know they don’t look super exciting in a photo, but believe me. Here’s why – when you pull on the ribbon on the right side, a Ghiradelli square candy bar emerges from the left side – kind of like magic. After receiving one of these from the Maui swap, I just had to find out how to make them. Where there’s a will there’s a way, right? Well, I figured it out and I’m so excited to share it with you!

Before we get to the video, here are the two treat boxes I made. I’m head over heels for how well these turned out. The one pictured below was made with Expressions in Ink Designer Series Paper and the Color & Contour bundle. I shared another project with this stamp set here and that gorgeous paper pack here.

This cute little peach slider box pictured below was made with the You’re a Peach Designer Series Paper. This one is my favorite 🙂

Love it! These will make great treats for Halloween or the holidays. Did you cut the plastic with a trimmer or scissors?

What a cute treat box Anna! And what a surprise when you pull the tag on one end and get a chocolate on the other. How cool is that!
