This will definitely be helpful if you’re new and just getting into this hobby. Let’s get started!
I’m going to walk you through four different card projects, and for each, I will share how to use several card making tools. Watch along to see how to use them!

Watch along here as I create four cards and demonstrate how to use an assortment of tools!
Labeled With Love Bundle
I created the cards shown below with the Labeled With Love stamp set. I love that it includes an assortment of greetings and images too, because it allows you to create a lot of different types of cards.
Project 1 – Simple Stamping With Stamps, Ink & Paper
For this card I’m began with a pre-cut card base and envelope. I used the leaf stamp to add leaves with Granny Apple Green ink, then stamped the flowers and greeting with Blueberry Bushel. So easy!
Project 2 – Simple Stepped Up With Trimmer And Punches
In the video, I shared how to cut your own card base when I created this card. To do so, just score a piece of 8 1/2″ x 11″ cardstock in half, then cut it in half the other direction. I folded and creased the card base with my bone folder, then stamped the background butterflies with Pretty In Pink ink. The border strip was simple to stamp with the two butterfly stamps. The greeting was easy to stamp and punch using the coordinating punch.
Project 3 – Let’s Embellish!
On this card, I’ve added designer paper, ribbon, and gems. These products make it so easy to create gorgeous cards. I stamped the white cardstock with the gift stamps and Daffodil Delight and Coastal Cabana inks. With a zig zag of ribbon and a few gems, this card is a great beginner project that doesn’t look beginner at all!
Project 4 – Die Cutting & Embossing
Learning to use a die cutting and embossing machine may seem overwhelming at first, but after you try it a few times, you’ll be a pro. Get more info on die cutting and embossing here. This is the card I created with die cuts, embossing, designer paper, and embellishments.
