A Brown (Yes Brown) Christmas Card With Stampin Up Making Christmas Bright

27 Sep

Um…I’m going to start today’s post with…ummm. Umm…I’m like, so stinkin’ excited to share today’s project with you that I, ummm, don’t know how to start! As you know I’ve been sharing quite a few Christmas and seasonal projects lately to get your mind thinking about projects you can be making over the next few months. Today’s Christmas card is pretty out of the norm for me. First of all, it’s brown. A brown Christmas card. Is that weird? I don’t know, but it’s the way it turned out, and I’m in love with it. Oh the other unusual thing is how simple this was to make. You could seriously make this card in just a couple of minutes, which means it would be perfect for mass producing for Christmas cards! Anyway, let’s check out this super-easy, brown Christmas card that I made with the Stampin Up Making Christmas Bright stamp set.

Like I said, I used the Making Christmas Bright stamp set for the greeting on this card, but as you can see the attention getter is that amazing designer paper in the background. It comes from the Feels Like Frost designer paper pack which has been spreading like wildfire. This paper is everywhere. Tons of customers have been ordering it, using it for all sorts of amazing projects. You can see a couple of other projects I have used it for here, here, and the most popular of the three, here.

The picture below isn’t the best, but it gives you a feel for the other prints that come in the Feels Like Frost designer paper pack. This pack is perfect for making SIMPLE Christmas cards, because all you need to add is a greeting and maybe an embellishment or two, and you have a gorgeous card (or lots of them) ready for your loved ones.
