Is anyone else out there getting tired of winter??? Technically I’m not tired of winter, I’m tired of the illnesses that come along with it. My daughter and I have both been sick for the majority of the last month. Go away germs!
Moving on to today’s project, I needed a masculine birthday card earlier this week for my brother’s birthday. He’s the outdoorsy type, so I grabbed the Wetlands stamp set and got to work. Here is what I came up with.
I decided to make a corner fold card for this design. Prior to bending down the top flap, I embossed the front of the card using the Woodgrain embossing folder…a great one for masculine cards.
Goose! Geeses! Geesies! Those are the words of my recently-turned-two little girl. She received a set of farm animals for her birthday and it has geese in it. I love how she takes a word and makes multiple versions of it. Here is another story along those lines.
One day she kept saying ‘mailbox’ over and over again. Then she started saying ‘mailbock.’ “Mailbock, mailbock…one mailbock,” she said. She’s so stinking smart. No, one mailbock is not correct, but she’s figuring things out for sure.
