Hello, I hope you are having a wonderful day. As I look out my window and watch the beautiful snow fall, I had the thought that it might be nice to slow down, take a second and share a time-saving tip. If you have trouble applying embellishments… whether they get stuck to your fingers, you can’t pull them off of the sheet, or they don’t stick to the exact spot where you want them, I have a handy tip that will be useful to you. So, grab your favorite hot beverage (mine’s tea) and enjoy!
Apply Embellishments With The Take Your Pick Tool
If you’ve watched my videos before, you’ll know that my favorite little tool for many different purposes is the Take Your Pick Multipurpose Tool. This tool is a basic cardmaking tool I think every crafter should have. It has five tips, each with different functions. One tip has a sticky end to help pick up small things, perfect for grabbing those small rhinestones and pearls. There’s a tip for scoring, one for piercing, and a spatula that is great for lifting pieces apart when you stick them in the wrong spot!
In the photo above, you can see the sticky putty on the tip of the tool. Simply push that against your gem and it will pick it up as you can see below.
Now I can apply it exactly where I want it to be with ease.
