Hi friends! Are you hoarding washi tape? Or do you have a few rolls and you’re not sure what to do with it? I’ve been playing with a new pack of washi that’s in our holiday catalog, and it inspired me to create today’s projects with four different quick ways to use washi on your projects. Let’s talk about them!

4 Ways To Use Washi Tape

Here are my simple ideas for using washi!

1. Create a simple background

For this one, I used several pieces of washi attached at an angle.

2. Cover a piece of cardstock and use it for punches

I punched out the witches hat, because the colors of this washi are perfect for Halloween.

3. Use it like tape! But in a decorative way

Use it just to tape an element onto your project – it’s a cute way to attach something!

4. Outline A Frame

You can outline one edge, two as I’ve shown here, or all four edges of an element. This creates a pretty frame.
