Can you believe it’s November already? It won’t be long and Christmas will be upon us. If you’re running low on time and want a super quick Christmas card design, then today’s project is for you! It uses the Stampin Up Thinking Thanks & Peace stamp set, which is a really unique one. Let’s take a look.
1 Minute Christmas Card Tutorial Video
Here is my quick card tutorial on this project. Watch along here!
Thinking Thanks & Peace Stamp Set
This stamp set is what really makes today’s super fast and easy card design possible. It includes HUGE greeting stamps, and I for one LOVE them! When you use a large greeting stamp, it really minimizes the effort you need to put into the other elements of the project.
In addition to using the Thinking Thanks & Peace set for the card fronts, I used another set called Holly Jolly Wishes for the inside of the cards.
Now let’s look at these quick cards!
1 Minute Christmas Card Samples
I call this a one minute Christmas card, because once your pieces are cut and ready, you can honestly stamp and assemble this card in about a minute. If you spend an hour cutting materials and an hour stamping and assembling, you could have a huge stack of Christmas cards ready to send out!
You’ll notice the focal point of each of these cards is a very large ‘Peace on Earth’ stamp. I added some designer paper and a strip of specialty paper to each, and that is it for a very simple card design.
This card sample uses Peaceful Place designer paper and some Silver Foil Paper.
This sample uses Whimsy & Wonder designer paper.
This one uses Painted Christmas designer paper and a strip of our Green Foil Paper from the Red & Green Foil Pack.
Aren’t these cards nice? Pretty and simple – perfect for replicating for your Christmas cards.
Cutting Dimensions
I used the same size pieces for each of my three cards, and arranged them in different arrangements. By doing this, you can create one of a kind cards while saving yourself a ton of time and energy.
Here’s what you’ll need:
- 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ card base
- 2″ x 5 1/2″ designer paper
- 1/2″ x 5 1/4″ specialty paper strip
- 3 1/4″ x 3″ cardstock for greeting
- 4″ x 5 1/4″ white for inside
