Stampin Up Soft Seedlings & 20 Ways To Use It! 

Welcome friends! Fall is upon us…what is fall like where you are? We have beautiful leaves and pumpkins everywhere we look here in northern Indiana. Leaves are some of my favorite things, and paper craft projects featuring leaves are just so much fun to create. I’ve been having a ton of fun playing with the Stampin Up Soft Seedlings stamp set, and today I want to share 20 different ideas with you for how to use this beautiful set. Let’s take a look!

20 Techniques For Using Stampin Up Soft Seedlings

Let’s take a look at these techniques!

1. Stamp it!

Easy enough!

2. Technique For Card Fronts

Stamp a cross onto a sheet of cardstock measuring 8″ x 10 1/2″ and cut into fourths to create pre-made card fronts.

3. Add Color To The Stamp With Blending Brushes

4. Add Color To The Stamp With Markers

5. Add Color To The Stamp With Daubers

6. Spritz The Stamp With Water

7. Hand Emboss

Stamp on one side of the cardstock, flip it over and use the stylus tip of your Take Your Pick tool to hand emboss, then add color with Blending Brushes.

8. Use White Ink

11. Color Over White Ink With Watercolor Pencils

12. Dabbing with Pastels

Stamp with Versamark ink, then dab pastel shavings over the top. Learn more about this here.

13. Heat Emboss

I love heat embossing! Learn more about heat embossing here.

14. Joseph’s Coat Technique

Heat emboss with clear embossing powder, then blend ink to surround the stamped area. Then wipe off the leaf with a tissue.

15. Baby Wipe Technique

This technique is a favorite! Learn more about the baby wipe technique here.

16. Gilded Leafing

Gilded leafing adds a really neat element to projects. This one didn’t turn out the best, but it has potential. Learn more about gilded leafing here.

17. Stamp On Glimmer Or Foil Paper

Make sure to use StazOn ink!

18. Rolling

Ink your stamp with a light color of ink, then ‘roll’ the edges of the stamp into a darker color of ink pad.

19. Stamp Over White Ink

Use a Stamparatus to stamp once or twice with white ink onto dark cardstock. Let dry. Stamp again in the same place with another color of ink.

20. Shadow Stamping

This is the same as above, but when you stamp the second time, move your cardstock slightly so the stamp is slightly offset from where it was the first time.
