Stampin’ Up! Relaxing Waterside & Twine Tricks! 

Welcome friends! I have some absolutely delightful and relaxing card projects to share with you today along with unique ideas for using twine to decorate your projects. I’m using the Stampin’ Up! Relaxing Waterside bundle and I think you’re going to love it. Let’s look at these cards.

Here you can see the nice stamp and die bundle that I used to create today’s cards.

I paired them with the Waterside Retreat designer paper pack, which made these cards come together very quickly.

Tricks For Using Twine

Below I will share eight different ideas for using twine on your projects. Let’s take a look at them.

Card #1

At the top of this card, I wrapped twine around the background paper two times. For the twine accent at the lower corner, I wrapped twine around my fingers several times and then tied a knot around the center of the loops. I cut apart both the top and bottom loops for this fun, grassy looking embellishment.

Card #2

Here you can see I added a fun detail to the chair by wrapping twine around the arms of it. You could do this on any embellishment. I also made a twine loop similar to the one I used on Card #1, but I did not cut the loops apart as I did before.

Card #3

Here’s another fun card. One of my favorite ways to use twine is for messy thread, which is what I did behind the chair on the left. I also created a small twine wrap for the embellishment tag.

Earlier I mentioned a fun technique for reverse stamping. The stamp and die set only includes one chair which faces towards the right. Watch along with the video for my fun tip for how to stamp the reverse chair or any other reverse image, or you can get more information on reverse stamping here.

Card #4

I used a loop twine technique behind the greeting tag for this card. I also outlined the designer paper with a double row of twine for a nice frame.
