Happy New Year! I hope you had a wonderful Christmas, a Happy New Year, and that you’re ready to start this year on a good note! I appreciate you following along with the things I share, so thank you! There are a ton of neat projects I have in store to share this year, so I hope you’ll be here to follow along. I want to kick off the new year by highlighting some products being released in just 2 days – the Stampin Up Perfectly Detailed stamp set and our new small blending brushes. I’ll be highlighting several ways to use blending brushes along with creating two lovely versions of a card – one simple and one more elaborate. Let’s take a look.

Simple Card Sample
For this card, I blended color onto the beautiful background using several colors and several techniques.
Stepped- Up Card Sample
For this card, I added embossing to the background. I used a craft knife to cut out the leaves and center flower so I could pop them up. I also added detail to the greeting and even blended color onto the ribbon with my blending brushes.
There are so many ways to use blending brushes! I shared just a few on these lovely cards.
