Stampin Up Peaceful Cabin Card Idea & Making Tip

16 Nov

Today I have another simple Christmas card idea to share with you made with the Stampin Up Peaceful Cabin stamp set, and I personally think it is just beautiful. It’s so easy to create too, and that’s the best when you can create gorgeous cards simply. I have a masking technique to share that makes this card possible. Let’s talk about it!

This peaceful Christmas card is easy to duplicate with this handy masking technique - made with the Stampin Up Peaceful Cabin stamp.

Stampin Up Peaceful Cabin Video Tutorial

For all the details on this cabin card, watch along with the video I created.

Masking Tip

What makes this card simple to create is a basic masking technique. I used the Cabin Dies to cut the piece shown below out of copy paper. I first stamped the cabin onto white cardstock, then laid the die cut over the top and stamped the trees. This gives the appearance that the cabin is in front of the trees, and makes a huge difference in looking realistic. I removed the paper ‘mask’ and finished stamping. This card truly comes together so quickly!
