It’s called Stampin Up Peace To You, and it includes two unique images plus a few beautiful greetings. Let’s take a look at it.

Peace To You Stamp Set

Here you can see what comes included in this stamp set. I love the silhouette images of Mary, Joseph and Jesus, and also the one of the church. The greetings are nice as well.

One of my favorite songs is called Light of the World, so every time I see the ‘Light of the World’ stamp on the cover I can’t help but singing it to myself 🙂 If you’re curious about this song, it’s by a group called We The Kingdom, so you can look it up. I think it’s a Christmas song, but I’m really not sure!

Now let’s look at some ways to use this stamp set!

9 Ways To Use Stampin Up Peace To You

Here are 9 ways I played around with for using this set. I know there are more, because I keep thinking of others I should have included!

1. Stamp It

We’ll start simple – just stamp it like normal with one color of ink. Because it’s a solid stamp, I encourage you to use a Stamparatus so you can stamp multiple times if needed.

2. Stamp Over Designer Paper

This can give a much different look than stamping on plain cardstock. This is a piece of Pretty Prints paper and I stamped with Shaded Spruce Ink.

3. Multicolor Stamping

For this technique, use the Stamparatus to stamp several times with different colors of ink to create the gradient in color. You can see exactly how I did each of these techniques in the video.

4. Multicolor Stamping

This technique again uses the Stamparatus, but ink was applied to the stamp using sponge daubers.

5. Baby Wipe Technique

I describe this technique in detail here, but basically you use ink refills to add several colors of ink to a baby wipe, then use the baby wipe as your ink pad.

6. Emboss It

This is a simple option that gives a much different look from stamping just using ink. Learn about embossing here.

7. Emboss With Clear Embossing Powder Over White

What if you want the stamped image to be white with color around it? I did this by embossing with clear embossing powder over white paper, then used I blending brushes to blend ink over the top.

8. Emboss With White Over Designer Paper

This is another option for having the stamped image show up white instead of another color.

9. Joseph’s Coat Technique

For this technique, use designer paper or cardstock with multiple colors applied to it. Stamp and emboss with clear embossing powder, then blend over top with ink. This is similar to #7, but you’re starting with a pattern on the bottom that shows through after blending. I should have started with a lighter color of designer paper, but you can get the idea.
