Stampin Up Little Treat Box Dies For Quick Treat Boxes

11 Sep

Do you enjoy making 3D papercraft projects? What about treat holders and small gifts? I’ve met a few crafters recently who do almost entirely 3D crafting, and I’m inspired by them! I love to make cards, but it’s really fun to make other types of projects as well. Today I’ll be sharing a quick and easy 3D project made using the Stampin Up Little Treat Box Dies. This teeny tiny treat box is perfect for candy, tea bags, hand sanitizer, crayons, or other small gifts.

Little Treat Box Dies

This die set is really cute and makes it very simple to make these treat boxes. I used the die and my Stampin Cut And Emboss Machine to cut the box base. Then I prepare a few items to decorate it, and I was ready to assemble them!

Next let’s look at the stamps and punches I used to create the leaves and acorns.

Beautiful Autumn Bundle

I used the Beautiful Autumn stamp set and Autumn Punch Pack to decorate this little box. The leaves and acorn are too stinkin’ cute, and this set has nice greetings included as well. The greetings were too large to use on this box, so I decided to use one from the Autumn Goodness stamp set instead.

Now let’s look at how to create these boxes.

How To Assemble The Treat Box

The treat box folds up in a jiffy. The die creates pre-scored lines and pre-made tabs and slits. This makes it quick and easy to fold it together.

After the center portion of the box was together, I placed glue onto each side, folded the tall sides in, and laid them flat to dry.

Occasions

These boxes are great for fall and Halloween, and would make really nice decorations for your Thanksgiving table. They’re perfect for Christmas, Valentine’s Day, and Easter. They would make fun school treats for birthdays or nice teacher gifts as well. What other uses can you think of?

Fill Them Up!

Fill them with fun size candy bars, small candies, tea bags, lip balm, hand sanitizer, crayons, or other small goodies. They would be really fun filled with jelly beans for Easter!
