3 Quick Card Recipes Tutorial
Watch along here for three simple recipes you can use to make quick and easy cards!
Stampin Up Adventurous Sky
Here’s the cute bundle I used on today’s cards. It’s perfect for masculine cards, younger boys, and even ‘punny’ cards for women!
3 Simple Card Recipes
Let’s take a look at three simple recipes for quick cards.
Card 1 – Designer Paper + Stamp + Greeting
For this card, I used a piece of subtle designer paper from the Take To The Sky designer paper pack, and stamped the planes on top. I created a quick greeting, and it’s done!
Card 2 – Stamp + Greeting + Embellish
On this second card, I began with a piece of cardstock, stamped the planes and clouds on top, then added a greeting and a few embellishments. So quick and easy!
Card 3 – Blend + Stamp + Greeting
This third project is a nice way to create a one-layer card that is still beautiful. I covered the sides of my card using large post it notes (you can use masking paper, removable tape, or tape with regular paper to do this), then applied a little ink with blending brushes to the area that was still showing. This technique is called masking. After removing the post-it notes, I stamped the planes and added a greeting. This is one of my favorite simple card recipes!
