Oh my goodness!!! I had a card class this morning and after everyone left I discovered something amazing on my porch…my shipment of pre-order supplies from our new catalog!!! I can’t wait to sit down and play! I might stay up all night tonight!
For now I will share the project we made at card class this morning, which was actually a sneak peek of some new products. I received the Botanical Blooms product collection when I visited the Stampin’ Up! Office in October, and since I was lucky enough to have it in my possession, I decided to use it for class today. Here is the Botanical Blooms thank you card that we made.
My absolute favorite die in the Botanical Builder set is the one that creates the leafy border on the right side of the card. It might be my favorite die period, out of all of the sets I own! I used it to cut the edge of the card and then I placed a strip of the Botanical Garden designer series paper behind the cut area to give it a pretty floral background.
Doesn’t the gold fancy foil vellum make the perfect background for the flowers? I have to admit…this is the first time I have ever used any of the fancy foil vellum. I feel like I’ve been committing some kind of sin! Now that I used it once I have a feeling you will be seeing it more often.
So what do you think? Do you LOVE this Botanical Blooms collection? Check out another gorgeous card I made with it here.
