September 2022 Paper Pumpkin Alternative Ideas & Kit – Spooky Treats

Hi stampers! I hope you’re doing well. I’ve been busy this week preparing for a weekend stamping event, but I took a couple hours yesterday to play with the happy mail I received…the September 2022 Paper Pumpkin kit. It’s called Spooky Treats, and I’m SO happy with the projects I was able to create with it. Take a look!

As you can see, I created all kinds of cards and 3D items, which I’ll share below.

September 2022 Paper Pumpkin Kit Contents

Below you can see the contents of this kit. It came with materials to make 18 treat boxes along with die cuts, embellishments, adhesives, stamps and Orchid Oasis ink.

I had no idea I would be able to use these pieces in so many different ways. Let’s look at the projects as shown in the instructions and then I’ll share my alternative ideas!

Treat Boxes As Shown In Instructions

Here you can see the treat boxes shown on the front of the kit. The instructions share how to make 6 of each of these boxes. Aren’t they cute?

I really like how these boxes open, with the insert piece that slides out. Watch along with the video to see how they open.

Now let’s take a look at my alternative ideas!

Treat Boxes And Bags

In the photo below you can see the treat bag, mini envelope, and chest of drawers that I created. For details on any of these projects, watch along with the video where I share details for how I created them.

You should really watch along to see that cute envelope at the bottom. I love how it turned out! You can’t appreciate it unless you see the back side and see how it opens and closes. The photo below shows the template for the pocket.

Lantern

This piece is the outside of one of the boxes, and I put a piece of vellum behind the spiderweb cutout. It makes a cute and easy lantern!

Scrapbook Page

I love how this sweet scrapbook page turned out, and it was really quick and easy to create.

Tiny Cards

Here are two cute little cards that I created with some of the box pieces and die cuts.

Full Size Cards

The cards below are full size. I pulled out some card bases from my collection, and used pieces from the kit to decorate them.
