Do your holiday decorations need a little updating? Would you love to add something to your collection that you can use for multiple seasons, and not have to box it up somewhere most of the year?? If so, the Season to Season Wreath is perfect for you. This adorable wreath is easy to put together with the kit that is available in the new Stampin’ Up! Holiday Catalog.
I love the Season to Season Wreath Kit for a couple of reasons. First I love that it is neutral and would fit in with basically any style of decorating. It looks nice in my home which is decorated country style, but it would look great in a modern home too. In addition, like I already said, you can use it for multiple seasons. The kit comes with ribbons and banners for autumn, Halloween and Christmas, but it is extremely easy to make additions for other seasons as well. Scroll down to see the one I made for spring. I also have plans to make a snowflake garland for winter and flag garland for summertime.
Here is a video I put together to show you a few tricks to make it easier to assemble your kit. Watch it here.
If you didn’t watch the video, the photo below should give you an idea of what you can create with this wonderful kit. The garland in the bottom right photo was not included in the kit, but I created it to extend the life of the wreath through other parts of the year!
Here is the autumn version of the wreath that will be making its debut on my front door in early September.
When October arrives, I will switch out the burlap ribbon for the black and white stripe, and switch the garland to bats and ‘boos.’
In November, I will return to using the autumn version of the wreath until just after Thanksgiving when I do my Christmas decorating, and then I will switch over to the Cherry Cobbler ribbon and the adorable Christmas tree garland.
The Season to Season Wreath kit comes with the items already shown, but I have plans to decorate with my wreath year round. I’m going to make a snowflake garland for winter. Below will be my spring and possibly summer version of the wreath. I would also love to make a flag banner to decorate in July and late summer.
To make the garland in the photo above, I used the Leaflets, Butterflies and Bold Butterflies framelits sets, the Pansy punch, and the Flower Shop and Vintage Leaves stamp sets.
The possibilities for the Season to Season Wreath are endless. Order yours anytime beginning September 1. Shop in my online store and use hostess code 6RFN3PMW to receive a free gift from me!
