Creating Quilt Cards
To create these cards, begin by trimming your scraps into squares, rectangles, or triangles of regular sizes. I used 1″ x 1″ squares, 1″ x 2″ or 3″ rectangles, and some 1 1/2″ squares cut into triangles for the Christmas card sample. Once your pieces are prepared, add adhesive to your cardstock and start placing the scraps over your card surface in any pattern you like.
Let’s take a closer look at the samples.
This one features the Bloom Where You’re Planted designer paper pack. Isn’t this pattern beautiful?
Here we have one with the Pattern Party hostess exclusive designer paper.
This one uses the reverse side of the paper pack mentioned above for a very different look.
This uses the adorable Heartwarming Hugs Christmas paper.
That’s it! A quick and easy way to use your scraps!
