Make Your Own Stamps With Craft Foam!

Hi friends, I’m excited to share with you today about how to make your own stamps with craft foam! I was inspired to do this when I was looking at my Heirloom Boutique stamps and wishing that there were stamps included to fill in color for the flowers. I decided to make my own. Let me share with you how I did this.

I also used the Addressed To You stamp set, shown below, to make the beautiful envelope. I love how this set can be used for all types of envelopes.

How To Make Your Own Stamps

To make your own stamps to fill in color, your first need to stamp the outline image onto craft foam. Next cut it out using a coordinating die or scissors. If you will be filling in areas with multiple colors, use scissors to cut off the areas for different colors, such as leaves and flowers.

It’s that simple. Attach these pieces to an acrylic block and use them just as you would a stamp!

If you find it would be helpful for the foam to be thicker, you can cut several layers of foam and attach them together. I discussed this in the video and how it could be helpful to avoid getting excess ink on your block and on your project.
