Oh my gosh, oh my gosh, oh my gosh!!! I am so excited for today’s project! I put it together yesterday afternoon, and I think it might belong in my card Hall of Fame. So now that you’re wondering, no, I do not actually have a card Hall of Fame. I feel like I should though. I could hang up all my favorite projects and just stare at them! I’m going to have to consider that, but anyway, let’s get on to today’s project. Today’s gorgeous snowflake card highlight’s Stampin’ Up’s Snowflake Showcase products being released this Thursday, November 1. You may order beginning Thursday while supplies last (which may not be long). However, TODAY is the final day for you to sign up for my coordinating Class in the Mail, and I don’t want you to miss it!
When you purchase the Snowflake Showcase set through my Class in the Mail, I’ll provide you with materials to make the cards shown above, 2 of each, for FREE! Check it out and sign up now before it’s too late!
To give you another idea of what you can do with this amazing set, I made this beauty below for today’s project.
I think I’m in love. I used Brusho Color Crystals spritzed with rubbing alcohol to make that unique background and simply put a shimmering snowflake on top. It was really very easy!
That huge snowflake is my favorite, favorite die in the Snowfall thinlits set. They are all beautiful, but I’m picking favorites with that big one.
Here is a view of the inside of the card. I used Blueberry Bushel ink which coordinates nicely with the Brusho Prussian Blue on the front.
The stamps I used are part of the Snow is Glistening stamp set, shown below. This almost makes me wish winter was here. Almost.
See exactly how to make this card here!
If you try this out, send me a picture of your card! I love how different the two of mine turned out!
