Please tell me I’m not the only one that has problems removing stamps from blocks sometimes. I’ve heard from a few of you who have this problem, so it seemed like a good reason to share my tips and tricks for solving this problem and preventing it from happening again. Let’s talk about it!
The Problem – Your Stamp Gets Stuck To Your Block
Sometimes a stamp just doesn’t want to come off of a block. The cling labels on our rubber stamps are awesome and I love them, but sometimes they cling a little too well.
Here are a few tricks for getting them off, and make sure to read to the bottom to learn how to prevent this from happening!
How To Get A Stamp Off The Block
Try these tips next time you have a stubborn stamp!
1. Feel around on different sides, and find a portion that isn’t stuck as badly
2. Use a fingernail to press against the block and lift the label and the stamp off
3. No fingernails? Use a plastic credit card, store membership card, or similar item to press against the block and lift it off.

Prevent Stamps From Sticking
Here’s how to avoid this problem in the future. Just mount the stamp a little bit off the edge of your block (just barely) and it will be quick and simple to remove!
