Welcome to Day 8 of my 12 Days of DIY Gift Ideas! Today’s gift is quick, easy, and makes a nice stocking stuffer, inexpensive gift, name card holder or decoration for your holiday table. It’s a cute hot cocoa pouch. Let’s look at it closer!
Hot Cocoa Pouch Video Tutorial
First I’ll share the video tutorial I created to help you make these yourself. Watch along here.
Stampin Up Frosted Gingerbread
The products I used to make these pouches are some of my favorites this year. This is the Stampin Up Frosted Gingerbread bundle and also the Gingerbread and Peppermint designer paper.
The card below is another one I made with this same set. You can learn about it here.
Materials
Here are the pieces you’ll need to prepare to make one of these hot cocoa pouches.
6″ x 8 1/2″ cardstock
3 3/8″ x 4 5/8″ designer paper
3 1/2″ x 4 3/4″ cardstock mat
22″ ribbon
Prepare the base by laying it horizontally on a scoring board. Score at 2 1/4″ and 6″. Turn it 90 degrees and score at 1″. Trim as shown below.
