Flower Patch Encouragement Cards for Cancer Patients

17 Nov

Back in October, I had a class where I set out materials for people to make cards to be donated to Card Care Connection for cancer patients. They turned out very bright and cheery, and I wanted to share them with you today. They were made with the Flower Patch stamp set.

Aren’t they nice and cheery? I used mostly colors that are part of our 2016-2018 In Colors, including Peekaboo Peach, Flirty Flamingo, and Sweet Sugarplum, plus one of the 2015-2017 In Colors, Mint Macaron.

I masked the white strip towards the bottom with a strip of paper, stamped the flowers over top, then removed the paper strip to reveal the blank area. Then I stamped ‘BeYou{tiful}’ in the space using Sweet Sugarplum ink.

Hopefully these cards, plus the others that myself and my customers donated to Card Care Connection will help to bring hope to a few of the many people who are battling cancer.
