Farmhouse Cards & Paper Pumpkin November 2018 Alternative Ideas

Hi everyone! Wow the last six days have been busy! Our Online Extravaganza sale is officially over, and I’m excited to be getting back to some regular blog posts. Starting tomorrow I’m going to be doing a fun series – 12 Days of DIY Gift Ideas. I can’t wait to share some of the fun things I’ve put together! As for today’s project, I am in love! This was the kit from Paper Pumpkin November 2018 – To You and Yours. This kit is amazing!! Check it out…

Here you can see what came in the kit. I am in love with anything ‘farmhouse’ and these cards definitely fit the farmhouse trend!

As shown above, this kit contains materials to make 10 completed cards. The included papers are reminiscent of our Festive Farmhouse paper which is a hot commodity this year.

Aren’t these cards just gorgeous? They just look like a cozy Christmas to me. They make me want to cuddle up in a blanket and watch Christmas movies…and drink hot chocolate.

Instead of making the entire kit into 10 cards, I chose to make six and save the other materials for some alternative ideas. Here you can see the insides of two cards that I stamped using the stamp set in the kit.

Now let’s see some alternative ideas. Here is a scrapbook page that I made using my four remaining envelopes. Each of the red plaid papers on the background was the inside of an envelope that I cut open and trimmed down.

I love how the ‘letter’ and envelope look on the page.

Here is another alternative idea. I got my inspiration for this banner from a fall one I made a few years ago. I love how it turned out! Our burlap ribbon was the perfect addition to ‘tie it all together’…haha.
