Diamond Plate Card

I’ll take a break today from holiday projects and do a good MANLY diamond plate card! I love the faux metal look to this card and it’s extremely easy to create.

Here’s how to make the textured metal piece. Are you focusing? Ready for the detailed instructions on how to do it? Get some silver foil sheets…cut a 4 x 5 1/4″ piece…emboss using the Arrows embossing folder. That’s it!
To create the black cardstock strip, I used the gorgeous grunge stamp set and stamped the images using Whisper White craft ink. I stamped off (stamped on scrap paper) each time before I stamped on the black cardstock. After the white ink was dry, I stamped and embossed the greeting using silver embossing powder.
