I have a new product in this year’s Stampin Up Annual Catalog that I love. Well, technically I have about a thousand new products that I love, but the one I want to talk about today is a basic supply that you can use on a LOT of projects. What I’m talking about are Foam Adhesive Sheets, and they allow you to create 3D die cuts using any of your dies. How fun!
The stamp and die bundle I used for today’s card is called Nothing’s Better Than, and it’s a new favorite of mine. I recently shared these projects made with the same set, and I just had to get it out and play with it again!
Life is hard sometimes. It’s frustrating. It can be monotonous. It’s often crazy, very busy, sometimes depressing, and once again…hard. We need to add some fun to it, and these cards are definitely fun!
A day without chocolate is like, ummm…just kidding, I have no idea.
Today’s Plan: Consume cocktails because adulting is hard.
I LOVE this stamp set!!!
Now, let’s talk about how to create 3D die cuts using foam adhesive sheets. Can you see in the photo above how the words ‘chocolate’ and ‘cocktails’ are popped up and 3-dimensional? Let me explain how I made them.
I used Foam Adhesive Sheets, which are sticky on both sides and covered in removable paper backing. I removed the paper backing from one side, attached it to cardstock, die cut through all of it, then removed the other piece of paper from the back side to adhere it to my project. The 3-dimensional effect really adds a lot!
If my instructions above didn’t make much sense, just watch along below as I explain how to create 3D die cuts and also how to create these cute cards!
