Today’s card is awesomely artistic…or it was made with the Awesomely Artistic stamp set at least! I have been oohing and ahhing for some time over this stamp set, and it seemed it was finally time that I make something with it! I decided to play along with this week’s Pals Paper Arts challenge for today’s card.
Here is what I put together.
It’s hard to tell in the pictures all of the different layers to this card. I began with the Tip Top Taupe card base, added a piece of Pink Pirouette and a woodgrain piece of the 2015-2017 In Color Envelope Paper, and topped it with vellum from the Botanical Gardens designer vellum pack which I stamped on. Stamping on vellum can be a little tricky since the ink drys very slowly. After stamping, I used my heat tool to speed the drying process.
The special little touches are usually my favorite parts of a card, so I added lace, the ‘fussy cut’ dragonfly, the greeting which I cut by hand as well and a few rhinestones.
