As I write this post, I’m watching the presidential debate. I’m very disturbed by this situation – not the debate in particular, but the people we are choosing from to run our country. I don’t want to get into anything political, but oh my. Oh my.
Ok. I’ve said my piece. Moving on to a cute silhouette camping card I made with the Always an Adventure stamp set and Outdoor Adventure framelits, which come together in a bundle at 10% discount. Isn’t it cute?
I wanted to do something different when I made this card. I wanted to use the set in an unusual way, so I created the silhouette look. I embossed the black areas with embossing powder. The background was sponged with Elegant Eggplant ink, then the stars and moon were stamped with white craft ink. I added gold Wink of Stella, which gives them a golden color.
Should I keep watching the debate, or go to sleep? Hmm, it’s a tough decision. I think I’m just going to keep praying for our country. That’s all I know to do.
