Is it Christmas already? Nope, but the release of the Stampin Up Holiday Catalog is just around the corner! Ordering begins next Tuesday, August 4, and that means we can start thinking about crafting projects for fall and winter. Are you excited? I know I am! Christmas crafting is just the best. I enjoy prepping for the holidays even in the middle of summer, and I know many of you do as well. Today I have a sneak peek of a neat product coming in the new catalog – the Stampin Up Snow Wonder stamp set and coordinating dies. I have both a card and scrapbook page sample to share, so join me and let’s take a look!
Aren’t these pretty? When I first saw the Snow Wonder set, I knew it had to be on my ordering list. This rustic old snowman is just amazing, and I knew it would be perfect for creating gorgeous scenes.
These projects were simple to create. I used the stamping off technique to create the trees in the background. By stamping multiple times without reinking, I achieved the darker trees in the front and lighter ones in the distance.
I made the snow drifts using torn paper. Easy peasy!
I stamped the snowman with Memento black ink and added color with our Blends markers. These markers are the absolute best. You have to try them if you haven’t!
Please watch along as I show how to make these projects!
