A Mod Thank You Card

21 Jan

It’s a bright, fun, mod thank you card that I have to share with you today! So first, I have to ask, is this an appropriate use of the word ‘mod?’ When I was trying to decide the answer to this, I did some internet searching and found all sorts of things I hadn’t planned to find! So really I learned nothing and decided to call it mod anyway. Please advise below in the comments and let me know if I’m right on or not!

Aren’t the bright patterns on this Shine On specialty cardstock fantastic? I love the combination of the bright fun colors with the rustic kraft cardstock. To get the full effect of this paper, you absolutely have to feel it. It’s so heavy and thick…those of you who consider yourself ‘paper snobs’ will definitely approve of this paper. Another fantastic feature is that the opposite side has silver foil designs on it. Check out these cards to see what the reverse side looks like.

The three pieces of Shine On cardstock measured 1.6 x 3.75″. No, there is no mark for 1.6 on your trimmer. I eyeballed it between 1.5 and 1.75″. I placed those three pieces on top of a 4 x 5.25″ piece of crumb cake cardstock.

I used my Wink of Stella glitter brush and some silver Dazzling Details on those pretty turquoise flowers for a finishing touch.
